So here are some snippets that we can use right now. They're rough, incomplete, possibly lame but they could be built on starting now.

• notunwound.mp3 reminds me of Unwound again, also in 3/4; 2 days old
• opendminor.aif working out an instrumental song in Dm
• slidestuff.mp3 more John Fahey practice, but if we combined that style with some very different sounds it'd be cool

So that's just a broad range of ideas.

In Amscray, we recorded a couple of nice instrumentals, which were the things I was most proud of. One I'll have to dig up, called For Ballard. We used crazy layered guitars and an old shortwave tuner.

Also from the last Amscray session, I still have all the original drum tracks, which it always seemed to me that I could repurpose. There are lots of expensive mics in the drum room, with different characteristics. Maybe you and I could reuse them and just credit Eric with drum performances and engineering (for micing the room).
